County Schools Close Again for Weather, to Resume Feb.16

The Cheatham County School District will be closed Friday, Feb. 12 due to the inclement weather and potentially hazardous road conditions as a result of the freezing rain and temperatures.

This means no in-person or virtual classes will be held.

Daycares will operate on the snow schedule. The hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 12 was already one of the district's scheduled early dismissal days.

As a reminder, the schools and the central office will also be closed Monday, Feb. 15 for Presidents Day.
