Colby's Army: 10th Anniversary Homecoming, Arena Dedication

Colby's Army is inviting the community to attend a 10th Anniversary Homecoming and Arena Dedication on Saturday April 11, 2026 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM with a special presentation taking place at 2:00 PM.

“While we were founded in 2009, February 7th of this year marked ten years we have been part of the Ashland City / Cheatham County community and we wanted to celebrate by inviting everyone out to the farm,” said Lisa Wysocky, the organization's executive director. 

Colby's Army is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides homeless outreach and peer support services, therapeutic riding and equine assisted learning, and organically grown produce that is given to hungry individuals.

The organization will also be dedicating a new 70’ x 110’ covered arena that will be used for equestrian services, the Colby's Army annual plant sale, and the annual Yard Sale Extravaganza, as well as other organizational and community events.

The April 11 event will feature food, games for children and families, tours, and a photo look back at their years on the farm, among other activities.

“We are so fortunate to be part of this wonderful community,” Wysocky said, “and we are so very excited to have this amazing covered addition to our facility that will benefit our clients, as well as the community.”

Wysocky added that while the structure itself was funded through donations, they are still fundraising for the new arena's lights, fans, electric/solar, fencing, and equestrian arena footing.
