Cheatham, Sycamore Wrestlers Compete in Harpeth Invitational

On Saturday, December 4, 2021, varsity wrestlers from Cheatham County Central and Sycamore High competed in the 22nd Annual Harpeth Invitational Tournament where 22 teams from Tennessee and Kentucky were represented.


Cheatham County Central High School finished in 9th place overall, with top placers being Daniel White, 3rd place, at 160 pounds; Landon Morris, 2nd place, at 195 pounds; and Adan Alvarez, 3rd place, at 132 pounds.

Sycamore High School finished in 2nd place overall, with top placers being Dylan Davenport, 1st place, at 132 pounds; Logan Heckert, 1st place, at 160 pounds; Luke London, 2nd place, at 138 pounds; Dalen Kimble, 2nd place, at 145 pounds; and Trey Moreland, 3rd place, at 120 pounds. War Eagle Luke London was awarded "Best Match."

This week, Cheatham County Central will host home matches on Tuesday, December 7, Thursday, December 9, and Saturday December 11.


Sycamore High will be competing at Humme Fogge on Tuesday, December 7, and Rossview on Wednesday December. They will be hosting a home match on December 10, and competing at the Clarksville Duals on Saturday, December 11.
