On, Thursday, April 8, 2021, Amanda Thomason was awarded the Middle TN Girls Wrestling Dream Team at 112 lbs for her accomplished season of 19-4.
She had 17 pins, a major decision (winning by more than 8 points), and one decision on the season, and took 4th place at State. Thomason also had a number of firsts for Cheatham County Central High School: she became the first female freshman to make it to State, was the first freshman to win a regional title, and first freshman to place at State.
