Cheatham County Museum to Host “Genealogy Wednesdays” Series in April

The Cheatham County Museum will host a series of genealogy programs throughout April as part of its “Genealogy Wednesdays” event.


The sessions will take place each Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and participants are encouraged to bring a laptop.


The April schedule includes:


  • April 15 – Cheatham County Deeds


    The program will feature Cheatham County Register of Deeds Chrissy Duke Henderson and longtime genealogy researcher Judy Hudgens Willoughby.


  • April 22 – Researching Your Ancestors Online


    Linda Metcalf will present on conducting genealogy research using online resources and tools for researchers of all levels.


  • April 29 – Writing Your Family’s Story


    Rosemary Hunter Klein will discuss insights from RootsTech webinars, including how to begin writing a family history and preserve it for future generations.


Admission is $4.00, with free entry for members of the Cheatham County Historical and Genealogical Association (CCHGA).
