Eight wrestlers from the Cheatham County Wrestling Club competed in the Adidas Nationals Wrestling Tournament in Independence, MO, on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
There were a total of 1870 wrestlers in this year's tournament.
Results: James Vaughn 133lbs 7th place, Caden Ospina 138lbs, Landon Morris 192lbs 4th place, Justin Andrews 133lbs, Sumner Boyd 122lbs, Adan Alvarez 133lbs, Daniel White 163lbs, and Luke London 143lbs 4th place.
"We are extremely proud of all of these wrestlers for accepting the challenge to compete in this tournament against wrestlers within their respective grade levels from all over the country," coaches say.
The Cheatham County Wrestling Club wrestlers will now turn their focus to the freestyle and Greco season.
