Cheatham Co. Wrestlers Attend Fellow Christian Athletes Wrestling Camp

The Cheatham County Wrestling Club took 11 middle school and high school wrestlers to the 2023 Fellow Christian Athletes (FCA) Wrestling Camp in Campbellsville, Kentucky on June 9- 11, 2023.

The group of young men and women received top-level wrestling technique from former Olympic wrestlers Nate Carr, Jim Gruenwald, and Berry Davis, D1 NCAA champions Mark Munoz and David Carr, and other college wrestlers and coaches. They also learned how focusing on the Lord impacted the lives of these superior athletes, and how making the Lord greater in their lives with less focus on their own abilities can result in success beyond athletics.

"The wrestlers enjoyed the technique sessions, live competition, the fellowship, and making new friends," coaches say.
