The Cheatham County School District will operate on a regular schedule on Monday, Dec. 13.
Due to the weekend tornado that touched down in South Cheatham County, the following roads are closed to through traffic and we will not be able to provide transportation service on Dec. 13: Highway 70 (from Cedar Hill Road to Kingston Springs Road), Butterworth Road, Sneed Road and Craggie Hope Road.
Bus route 8 will not be able to run at all.
Families will need to arrange other means of transportation to get their child(ren) to and from school on Dec. 13. If you are not able to attend school as a result of the tornado, then families will be able to use an administrative day and they should contact their child’s school Monday morning.
"We appreciate the electric companies that worked to restore power and the city and county agencies that helped clear the roadways in the Pegram and Kingston Springs communities following the tornado," the district says.
If your child has a need as a result of the tornado, please contact his/her school or email info@ccstn.org.
