A “Back to School Bash” headlines events at the Cheatham County Public Library in August.
The bash, hosted by Youth Services Coordinator Kim Mayberry, will be held in the library’s community room, Saturday August 21 at 10 am.
Back to school themed crafts, snacks, games and goodie bags will be available for all attendees.
In addition to the “Bash,” in-person children’s programming will resume August 10 at 10am.
Story Time will meet at 10 am on Tuesday and Wednesday. Each program will feature the reading of two to three books, snacks, crafts and social interaction.
Story Time is a great way of fostering a child’s interest and love of reading.
The library will begin opening everyday beginning August 9. The hours will be 8:30-5, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Saturdays 8:30-3. If you like to visit the library at night, Tuesday and Thursday we will be open 8:30 am-8 pm.
Curbside pickup will still be available for those desiring it.
The library offers an abundance of books, print and audio, DVDs and other materials for checkout. They also offer Ebooks, Wi-Fi and public computers.
