Chamber Director Misty Keenan presents Larry Roberts with a donation for CCIL (Submitted)

Each year, the Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce selects one local non-profit organization to receive the donations raised from drink cart tips and the "closest to the pin" game at their annual golf tournament.

The Governor's Early Literacy Foundation, known as Cheatham County Imagination Library locally, received $845 from the Cheatham Chamber.

"We are so thankful for everyone that participated in the tournament and tipped big," says Misty Keenan, chamber director.

CCIL provides children (ages birth to 5 years old) one book each month at no cost to the family.
