Families across Cheatham County are invited to celebrate the Easter season at a special community event hosted by the Cheatham County Historical and Genealogical Association on March 21, 2026.

The celebration will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cheatham County Museum in Ashland City.

During the event, guests will have the opportunity to tour the museum and explore the rich history of Cheatham County while enjoying a festive afternoon with the Easter Bunny. Families can have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny, creating fun springtime memories in a unique historical setting. Each family will receive a free 4x6 photo while supplies last.

Children will also be able to enjoy hands-on crafts and tasty snacks throughout the afternoon. The event is designed as a “come and go as you wish” gathering, allowing families to stop by at any time between noon and 4:00 p.m.

The celebration is completely free to attend, making it a great outing for families of all ages.

Organizers encourage the community not to miss this exciting day of local history.

The Cheatham County Museum is located at 835 S. Main Street in Ashland City.
