Carl Garrett to Speak on Revolutionary War Flags at Cheatham County Museum

The Cheatham County Historical and Genealogical Association will welcome guest speaker Carl Garrett to the Cheatham County Museum on July 9, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. for a special program on “The Flags of the Revolutionary War.”

Garrett will share his collection of replica Revolutionary War flags and discuss the history, symbolism and significance of the banners that represented the colonies during America’s fight for independence.

The program is part of the continued celebration of America’s 250th birthday and offers attendees an opportunity to learn more about the people, events and symbols that helped shape the nation.

The event will be held at the Cheatham County Museum. Admission is free, and everyone is invited to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring a friend for an evening of history, patriotism and discovery.
