Brenda Faye Ellis Pardue, age 73 of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2 o’ clock pm on Friday, November 6th, with Bro. Billy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Heads Cemetery in Cedar Hill with Mark Ellis, Justin Bracey, Weston Bracey, Joey Ellis, Jon Boy Ellis, and James Thomas Walker serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8PM, Thursday, November 5th, and again on Friday from 12:00PM until the hour of service at 2:00PM. Mrs. Pardue was born on January 12, 1947, in Springfield, Tennessee to the late J.R. “Trick” and Frances Shearon Ellis. She was a homemaker for many years and retired as the cafeteria manager at Coopertown Elementary School. She loved to work in her flower beds and was a member of Heads Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Kenneth “G.K.” Pardue; and a granddaughter, Judith Sloan Bracey. She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Tommy) Hayes and Jennifer (Jason) Ellis; grandchildren, Justin (Mary Margaret) Bracey, Weston Bracey, Alex Hayes, Joseph “Joey” (Rachel) Ellis, Jonathan “Jon Boy” Ellis, and Jessica Ellis; great- grandchildren, Leland Ervin, Justin Forrest Bracey, Coulter Bracey, Baylor Ellis, and Jake Ellis.
