July 3, 2021 (Cheatham County School District)
Students within the Cheatham County School District will receive school breakfast and lunch at no cost thanks to a waiver extension from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Through the 2021-2022 school year, the USDA will reimburse the district for student meals.
Additional a la carte items, such as an extra entree or snacks, will be available for purchase at full price.
At this time, they are not allowing family members to eat with students in our schools.
Even though all students will receive a free breakfast and lunch this year, it is very important that families continue to complete the free and reduced meal application. Filling out the free and reduced application will assure your student does not lose benefits at the beginning of the next school year (if we are not approved for all free breakfast and lunches during the 2022-2023 school year).
Applications will be available at the schools when school resumes.
