A beloved Nashville restaurant is expanding to Cheatham County, with a new location slated to open in Ashland City in the fall of 2025.

Monell’s, known for its family-style Southern dining, is bringing its signature charm and comfort food to Harbor House.

Guests can look forward to hearty Southern staples like skillet-fried chicken, pork chops, pot roast, cheese grits, green beans, warm cornbread, and biscuits smothered in gravy—all served with a side of hospitality.

The announcement follows the recent closure of Monell’s at the Manor after 13 years, a decision brought on by changes at Nashville International Airport. Now, the restaurant is looking ahead to a fresh chapter in Ashland City.
