The Cheatham Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Riverbluff Park in Ashland City. This year, it will take place in the very back of the park by the boat launch ramp.

"This is a great location with lots of shade and parking for our guests and partners," the Chamber says.

The Bash begins at 9AM, and proof of Cheatham County residency is required.

Attendees can start arriving at 7:30am, and the Chamber asks that partners arrive by 8:15am to set up and be ready to distribute supplies at 9am. Partners will need to bring a table and be able to carry all boxes/trash back with them, as the park does not have enough trash receptacles to handle it.

To make the event successful, the organization leans heavily on business and community support. At the event, contributors are allowed to setup tables, pass out supplies, and meet the families being served.

All supplies, in any amount, are welcome; if you wish to donate monetarily, the Chamber will purchase the supplies needed.

Items needed are: boxes of crayons, scissors, 6ct. packs of glue sticks, 8ct. packs of washable markers, dry erase markers, wide-ruled paper, composition notebooks, colored pencils, spiral notebooks, sheet protectors, three-ring pencil pouches, and folders with prongs and pockets.

After the event, any leftover supplies will be donated to schools across Cheatham County.
