Animal Cruelty Investigation Underway in Cheatham County

The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office is currently assisting Cheatham County Animal Control in an ongoing investigation involving suspected animal cruelty concerning multiple dogs.

Deputies and Animal Control officers responded to a property located at 1053 Johns Road in Joelton after receiving reports of animal neglect. Upon arrival, they discovered several dogs living in poor conditions.

The animals have since been removed from the property and are now under the care of Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) and Cheatham County Animal Control.

The investigation remains active at this time.
