Through an Adopt-a-Flowerbed program, The Town of Pleasant View is encouraging public involvement in the enhancement of local parks and facilities. Through the initiative, volunteer individuals or groups "adopt" and maintain designated flowerbeds.
Volunteers will commit to one growing season- tentatively May through September.
Removing litter/weeds and visiting the site frequently to make sure the plants are healthy are some of the volunteers' responsibilities.
Sign-up for this program is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
