On June 3, 2022, local realtor Alisha Duncan and her team celebrated 24 Realty’s sixth year in business and the opening of its new location.

The new office, located at 2521 TN-49 in Pleasant View, was filled with smiling faces and an overflowing sense of pride as the team of hard-working realtors celebrated with each other, their families, customers, and members of the community.

The afternoon's festivities boasted refreshments, a raffle, and even the Golly G's ice cream truck.

When the building, formerly the office of Janet Tabor, went up for sale, Duncan wasn't necessarily in the market to move, but she simply could not pass up the opportunity.

"Being in real estate for the past 14 years, I felt it was an opportunity for my business that I could not pass up," she reflects.

During nine months of intense renovations, many changes to the existing structure, built in 1940, were made; the interior was completely gutted, asbestos was removed, a new electrical system was installed, new windows were added and old ones replaced, and it was given a new roof.

Duncan’s journey began in 2007 when she obtained her real estate license, a step that put her on the long road to starting her own business. Nine years later in 2016, 24 Realty opened its doors in Pleasant View on Industrial Drive.

Over the years, Duncan and her staff grew the business steadily, reputably, and have since earned a stellar reputation within the community and industry.

Duncan's team, made up of Taylor Walker, Brandy King, Jake Bumpus, Debbie Hughes, Robbin Wiggins, and Dana Anderson, plans to continue down their path of growth, dedicate themselves to their clients, and remain humble and grounded
