The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces the immediate closure of the Right Bank Recreation Area Beach at Cheatham Lake in Ashland City, Tennessee, due to elevated levels of Escherichia coli (E. Coli.).

The area is still open for picnicking and boat launching.

Signs have been posted at the entrances of the beach warning the public not to swim or wade at this location.
