On Saturday August 29, the Sycamore War Eagles hosted the Bears of Davidson Academy after the Friday night game was called due to weather.
It was hot on the field-- both the weather and the game. The hometown War Eagles tried desperately to fly, but the Bears held them down, winning 50-0.
The Cheatham County Cubs traveled to Lewis County on Thursday evening to get their contest in before the storms hit and met a similar fate, going down in defeat 42-0.
The War Eagles travel to Stewart County, and the Cubs travel to Fairview on September 4.
