August 20 was the deadline to submit a petition to run in the November city election.
The Cheatham County Election Office has confirmed that for the mayor position, current aldermen Bill Anderson and Heather Hardwick will be the two candidates running.
Ronnie Curtis, Jill Niccolich, incumbent Kyle Pritchett, and Larry Vernon will be running for the two aldermen seats.
The election will be held November 3.
Early voting begins Wednesday, October 14 and ends October 29.
The last day to register to vote in the upcoming election is Monday, October 7.
