The Pink Out for Hope Committee has announced its cancelation of the 2020 Booby Bolt.

“Our leadership team has spent many hours in prayer, research, and discussion regarding our 2020 events,” the POFH Committee stated. “Due to the unknown and ever-changing circumstances and high-risk population this amazing event is focused around, we regret to announce we will not be hosting the Booby Bolt in 2020.”

Last October, the popular 5K and Fun Run drew a record-breaking crowd with 407 of 495 registered participants crossing the finish line— making it the largest Bolt in POFH history.

POFH helps with monetary grants for current patients and reimbursements for lymphedema sleeves for survivors. Anyone currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer who would like more information should visit http://pinkoutforhope.org/need-assistance/ or email info@pinkoutforhope.org.

“Although this year’s event may be interrupted, we look forward to a bigger and better Booby Bolt in 2021.”
