On Friday, June 5, Sycamore War Eagle basketball superstar Daniel Saylor signed a letter of intent to play at University of Alabama at Huntsville.

Over the course of his stand-out career as a War Eagle, Saylor was named the District 9-AA Most Valuable Player- twice, Tournament Most Valuable Player, and Boom Sports Media Player of the Year.

In addition to basketball, Saylor played soccer, was in the marching band, and was the Class of 2020 valedictorian; he was also a National Merit Scholarship finalist.

While attending UAH, Saylor will be studying mechanical engineering and has aspirations of one day working in robotics.

"UAH is an amazing engineering school. The engineering community is very rich, and the team is very supportive of academics as well as just being a good group of guys," he said.
