Michael Harvey Roberts, age 80 of Joelton, Tennessee died Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
A graveside service will be held at 3 o’ clock pm on Monday, June 1st at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Nashville with Pastor Blake Stiles officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View from 11:30AM-1:30PM on Monday, June 1st and then proceed to Woodlawn Memorial Park
Cemetery for the graveside service at 3:00PM.
Mr. Roberts was born on February 16, 1940 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, to the late William Harvey and Mary Catherine Woodward Roberts. He was retired with over 20 years as a salesman with IBM and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He was a guitarist and musician and performed with a lot of famous people. He was a member of Highland Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Roberts and brother-in-law, Floyd Robinson.
He is survived by a sister, Joy Robinson; nieces, Kim, Debbie, Sherry, and Donna; a nephew, Tony; and brother-in-law, Thomas Barber.
