Lifelong Cheatham County resident, Kathryn Forewright, is the Administrative Support Assistant for the University of Tennessee and Tennessee State University Cheatham County Extension. Kathryn has been in this position for approximately 3 years. She is the backbone of the extension office and works with all program areas including Agriculture, 4-H and Family Consumer Sciences.
Cheatham County Extension has been a huge part of Kathryn’s life. Kathryn remembers visiting the Home Demonstration Clubs as a child with her great Aunt Melinee and entering many items into the county fair. Agriculture has also surrounded her all her life. She grew up on a farm around pigs, beef cattle and tobacco. The Cheatham County Extension has and will continue to play a vital role in the Shores’ farm for many years to come.
Kathryn and her husband, Michael Forewright, live on the family farm where they enjoy helping on the farm, hunting and enjoying the great outdoors.
