Lillian “Charlcie” Boyd, age 60 of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Charlcie was born on June 2, 1959 in Fort Benning, Georgia to Betsy Clark Kell and the late Robert Walter, Jr. She retired with over 30 years as a nurse. She loved to travel and work in her yard and garden. Charlcie loved to write and had published a book, “Where Grace Grows.” She was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Michael Boyd; son, Daniel Boyd; daughter, Tanya Shannon; mother, Betsy Clark Kell; step-father, Ross Kell; brother, Robert Walter, Jr.; sisters, Leslie (Forrest) Smith, Margaret Walter, Jackie (Dan) Buhlig, Laurie (Ron) Casey; grandchildren, Hayden and Weston Boyd, Caleb, Seth, and Haley Shannon; great-grandson, Phoenix Shannon; and former son-in-law James Shannon, Jr.
