Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the need for social distancing, the inaugural Cheatham County Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony is being postponed until the fall.
The event, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 6, will now be held Saturday, Oct. 24. The location will be announced.
“The health and welfare of our community is our top priority,” said CCSHOF chairman Tim Ray. “We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and it is clear that postponing our event is the right decision at this time.”
Any additional announcements regarding the postponement will be shared on the organization’s Facebook page at “Cheatham County Sports Hall of Fame.”
