Christine Beard, age 81 of Chapmansboro, Tennessee died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
A private family Funeral Service will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View and her remains will be cremated following the service.
Mrs. Beard was born on January 7, 1939 in Glasgow, Scotland to the late John and Jean Finlayson Broadfoot. She was a retired hearing aid specialist. Mrs. Beard was a very avid gardener and was actively involved in a number of clubs and organizations and was a Christian. “She never met a stranger.”
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Marian Hamilton.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick Beard; son, David (Susan) Beard of Pleasant View; daughter, Sara Beard of Chapmansboro; sister, Helen Lockhart of Doune, Scotland; and granddaughter, Taegen Beard.
