Benjamin “Ben” Lloyd Plunkett, age 46, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at NorthCrest Medical Center.
A private family funeral service will be held Friday, May 1 with Bro. Barry Raper officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Ashland City with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic regulations, a limited visitation with social distancing will be held from 9-11AM, Friday, May 1. Only 10 visitors at a time will be allowed in the chapel.
Ben was born on December 9, 1973, in Burian, Washington, to Lloyd Plunkett and the late Betty Halliburton Plunkett. He was a writer for various magazines. He loved writing, learning, family and his friends. He was the church librarian and was a member of the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, Ben is survived by a brother, Daniel (Jennifer) Plunkett of Hawaii; sisters, Rebekah Plunkett and Leah (Donnie) Stevanus both of Pleasant View; and loving aunts, uncles, five nieces, and three nephews.
If so desired, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bethel Free Will Baptist Church at 2400 Mosley Ferry Rd., Ashland City, TN 37015.
