Goldie Mae Driscoll, age 91, of Springfield, Tennessee, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at Northcrest Medical Center.
A private family graveside service was held on Saturday, April 18, at Beth Haven Memorial Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky, with her son-in-law, Pastor David Price officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Driscoll was born on May 1, 1928, in Corbin, Kentucky, to the late Thomas Dodd and Ava Thurston Dodd Roberts. She was a homemaker and a very faithful member at Providence Baptist Church. A ministry of hers was visiting nursing homes for her church in Louisville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar M. Driscoll; and brothers, Bill Roberts and Jerry Roberts.
Mrs. Driscoll is survived by a son, James E. Driscoll; daughters, Patricia A. Grider, Brenda Scott (Michael) Akins, and Frances (Pastor David) Price; a brother, Thomas R. Roberts; twelve grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
