Library Responds to COVID-19 Concerns, Promotes Alternate Options

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, all programs and use of the community room/meeting room space at the Cheatham County Public Library are suspended until April 15.

The library's service hours will also be reduced. Until further notice, the temporary hours will be Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. They will be closed on Saturdays.

"We continue to take extra precautions to ensure that the library and surfaces within are cleaned and disinfected frequently," says May Lingner, the library's director.

The library's free WIFI service will still be available during regular hours as well as after hours.

If you are interested in checking out items from home, E-books, audiobooks, and even magazines are available with your Cheatham County Library card.

In an attempt to make things easier for readers, the team at the library is also working on a curbside pickup option, offering extended loan/renewal periods (except for hotspots), and waiving all overdue fines at this time.
