The Cheatham County Soil Conservation District will host our annual seedling give away March 20th from 9am-12noon in recognition of Arbor Day and Earth Day. Free seedlings will be given to Cheatham County landowners.
Three types of seedlings will be given away which include: Virginia Pines; Southern Red Oaks, and Yellow Poplar beginning at 9AM at the Soil Conservation Office, 1104 N. Main St., Ashland City, TN.
About 900 seedlings will be distributed, at approximately 10 seedlings per person, on a first-come, first serve basis. Only Cheatham County landowners are eligible.
