On Friday night, February 28, the Cheatham County Lady Cubs faced E. Nashville Magnet in the quarter-final round of the regional playoffs.
Down by 10 points at halftime, the Lady Cubs battled back and brought home a 68-64 overtime victory.
The Sycamore Lady War Eagles went down in defeat by Maplewood.
On Saturday night, the Cubs hosted the Hume Fogg Blue Knights in the men's quarter finals.They came out of the locker room at halftime with a 31-25 lead, but the visitors had other plans and defeated the Cubs 55 - 64.
Across town the Sycamore War Eagles welcomed Maplewood and finished the evening with a 45-35 victory.
The Lady Cubs will face a fast, well-disciplined team from Westmoreland on Monday night at Maplewood; game time is 6 PM.
The War Eagles will play Tuesday night against E. Nashville at Maplewood. Their game also begins at 6 PM.
