Miles Lemarion Brown, Jr, age 93, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tn.
Miles was born in Hickman County, Tennessee, on May 27, 1926, to the late Miles Lemarion Brown, Sr., and Charlotte Bradford Brown. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness and was a retired book binder for Southern Library Bindery.
Miles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Max Brown; sisters, Vivian Gibbs and Hazel McVicker; and granddaughter, Tammy Covington. He is survived by his wife of over 74 years, Myrtle Jones Brown; sons, Dennis (Sheri) Brown and Anthony (Gayle) Brown; daughters, Donna (Steve) McClure, Barbara Owen, Eugenia (James) Carlin, and Susan (Jerry) Neal; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating Miles’s life will be Saturday, February 8th, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Matthew Burcham officiating.
Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tn.
