On February 4, local wrestlers met at Sycamore High School for the “Battle of the County” team duals.
Harpeth came out on top this year, beating out both Sycamore High School-- last year's winner-- and Cheatham County Central High School.
Also senior night for the War Eagles, Aiden Barker, Izzibella Heck, and Hope Vaughan were recognized during the cross-county event.
Wrestlers from Cheatham County will be participating in the regional tournament scheduled for February 14 and 15 at Creekwood High School. The top four finishers in each weight class will then advance to the state tournament on February 21- 22 at the Williamson County Agriculture Center.
