Dickson’s Tennessee College of Applied Technology students put their design skills to work by creating a challenge coin for State Rep. Mary Littleton.
Littleton, a Dickson Republican, asked the school’s digital graphic design students to create a challenge coin that represented issues and conservative values she advocates for.
“I wanted a coin to represent my support of pro-life legislation and the conservative values I fight for in Nashville,” Littleton said. “But I also wanted it to serve as symbol that raises awareness about the appalling and heinous crime of human trafficking.”
Littleton has championed Tennessee’s efforts to combat human trafficking and modern day slavery. She has fought to raise awareness and support for victims during her tenure in the House.
“Ending human trafficking and modern day slavery in Tennessee remain some of my top priorities,” Littleton continued. “We must continue to create solutions that support our victims while also holding offenders accountable for their actions.”
Winners of the coin challenge were Caitlin Crouch, first place; Celine Roberts, second place and Ginger Bertoni, third place.
The winning coin will be printed and distributed to constituents.
