For the third year, The Cheatham County Democrats are collecting food for Cheatham County Animal Control. Over the next few weeks, they are taking donations of wet and dry food for both cats and dogs. Toys, snacks, and treats are also needed.
“We have collected and delivered food, treats, and toys to the animal shelter for the last two Christmases. The community support and the places that host our boxes make it possible," said Lynn Newcomb, chair of the county party.
Items can be dropped off at the following locations: Tractor Supply in Ashland City, Morgan & Associates, PLLC in Ashland City, the post office and Dollar General in both Pegram and Kingston Springs.
