Colby’s Army Urgently Seeking Donations to Reach 2019 Goal

Colby’s Army, a nonprofit organization in Ashland City that helps people with life challenges through outreach and interaction with both animals and nature, is urgently seeking donations.

They are currently $1,600 shy of meeting their 2019 goal.

Donations will help change the lives of children an adults who face life challenges. Money raised will go toward providing therapeutic horseback riding lessons, job training, organic gardening and nutrition, social opportunities, and outreach services.

"We are an all-volunteer organization, so every dollar goes to support life-changing equestrian and other programming. Please consider giving $10 $20, $50, $100 or whatever you can, on or before December 31,” said Lisa Wysocky, the organization's executive director.

Colby’s Army, located at 1394 George Boyd Road, is funded almost solely through financial gifts. Donations can be mailed or made online at www.colbysarmy.org.

Donations are tax deductible.

"Thank you for helping us deliver joy, social skills, friendship, self-esteem, pride, and important life lessons to our most fragile of populations,” added Wysocky.
