Lady Warriors Wear Down Recent Opponents

The Lady Warriors of Pleasant View Christian School returned to action Tuesday night against the Falcons of Ft. Campbell.

The Lady Warriors went into the half holding an eight- point lead against the Falcons, but outscored their opponents 33-6 in the second half to defeat them, 53-18.

Caia Lytle matched her highest scoring output, putting up 10 points to go along with leading scorer Makayla Edgin.

On Friday night, the Lady Warriors travelled to Dickson to take on the Thunderbirds of West Academy. The Lady Warriors easily separated themselves from the Thunderbirds with a 17 point second-quarter effort. The Lady Warriors went on to easily win by a score of 53-23.

Freshman reserve point guard Chloe Pangborn put up a career high of 12 points on 6 of 8 shooting from the field.

“We have a really talented group of freshmen and sophomores who have really added some depth to our bench this year. We are playing a style that allows us to keep fresh legs on the floor the entire game which has allowed us to really wear down our opponents so far. It has also allowed our younger players to get a lot of game experience, which will be helpful when we get to the postseason this year,” says Coach Rusty Campbell.
