2019 Booby Bolt to Honor Lori Stone

September 29, 2019

This year’s Pink Out for Hope Booby Bolt will be held in honor of Lori Stone.

Stone, who taught at Ashland City Elementary School for over two decades, lost her battle with breast cancer in August of 2016.

A beloved wife and mother of two daughters, Stone always showed her love for Christ, according to friends.

The Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run will begin at 8 a.m on October 5. It will be followed by the Survivor Recognition Walk at 8:15 a.m., and the Booby Bolt at 8:30 a.m. A Memory Mile to honor those who have lost their battle with breast cancer will be displayed along the race route.

All Pink Out for Hope activities for the day are to be held at Balthrop Park in Pleasant View.

All of the proceeds will fund the Pink Out For Hope’s Patient Assistance Program for women with breast cancer in Cheatham County and the 37146 zip code of Robertson County. It will also go toward raising awareness and funding research for breast cancer.
