Stratton’s Favorite Dishes Featured at Safe Haven Fundraiser

You have another chance to enjoy delicious burgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, and other favorites from the legendary Stratton’s restaurant, in a special fundraising event later this month for a local nonprofit which helps domestic violence survivors and their families.

The benefit for Safe Haven of Cheatham County – Courtney’s House features Steve Stratton and several of his signature dishes from his 1950s style diner kept folks coming back for 40 years: Burgers, fries, shakes, Cokes, and sundaes. Even though Stratton said he’s enjoying retirement and doesn’t plan to reopen his restaurant, he’s honored to assist in Safe Haven’s mission. “Hopefully, what we do at the fundraiser will help these women and children through some tough times,” he said.

Classic car displays, door prizes, and rock-and-roll music from local deejay Mark Stone will also be featured. The fundraiser is set for September 28, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, 1935 Highway 12 South, Ashland City, Tenn. Tickets are $50 in advance.
