The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department has announced the date for their 2019 parade and picnic.

Voted the best community event in Cheatham County, the PVVFD Annual Parade & Picnic will be held on Saturday, October 26.

The day will begin at 6 AM with a $5 pancake breakfast to benefit the Unified Champion Sports Initiative. The breakfast will be located at the Livery Stables and tickets can be bought at the door until 9 AM.

The parade is set to begin at 10 AM, and will follow the designated route through Pleasant View beginning at City Hall.

There will be a contest awarding first, second, and third-place to the floats best representing this year’s theme, Building on a Strong Foundation which will honor founding members and their families.

Following the parade, attendees can expect food trucks, dunking booths, costume contests, pumpkin painting, a co-ed softball tournament, and a silent auction at the picnic portion of the event beginning at 11 AM.

As planning progresses, more information will be announced.
