Summer Basketball Camp Helps Support War Eagle Team

June 26, 2019

The War Eagles annual basketball camp, scheduled for late July, will offer young campers on-court individual attention, competition, and valuable instruction.

Through the three-day midsummer camp that will focus on fundamentals, the War Eagles girls basketball team hopes to raise money for their 2019-20 season.

The popular annual camp is open to both boys and girls entering grades two through eight, and is separated into elementary school and middle school sessions.

Session one will be held from 9 am to 11:30 am July 24-26 for boys and girls entering second, third, and fourth grades; the second session, designed for those entering fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, will run the same days from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Applications can be obtained by emailing Coach Cody King at

The cost is $65 per camper; checks should be made out to “Sycamore War Eagles WBA” and brought to the first day of camp.
