Whether you’re a painter, a photographer, or sculptor in your spare time, the newly-formed nonprofit Art League of Cheatham County would like you to consider entering your original masterpieces in their First Annual Fine Art Show this fall.
Prizes range from $500 for first place, $200 for second place, $100 for third place, as well as Merit Awards and a People’s Choice Award. The juried art exhibition will be held September 27, and the show will open to the public September 28 at the Sycamore Square Cheatham County Government Offices.
Debbie Keenan, a local artist who one of the six founding principal organizers of the League and owner of the Keenan Group, said the show is open to anyone 16 and up living in Cheatham County, and you do not have to belong to the League to enter.
