Community Bank and Trust established a scholarship fund with The Community Foundation of Middle TN in 2009. Every year, a student is chosen from each of the 4 high schools located in Cheatham County to receive the Community Bank and Trust Scholarships.
Trish Nguyen, a senior at Harpeth High School, will be a freshman at the University of Tennessee‐Chattanooga with plans to major in pre‐medicine. She has served as President of HOSA, Editor‐in‐chief of the school newspaper, Student Council representative and member of the Ntional Honor Society, Chemistry Club and the Makin A Difference Club.
Payton O’Neal, a senior at Cheatham County High School, will be a freshman at Nashville State Community College with plans to major in computer science and information technology. He has been a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and has competed in regional contests. His community service includes volunteer work at Bethesda.
Savannah Wright, a senior at Sycamore High School, will be a freshman at the University of Tennessee‐Knoxville this fall with plans to major in Biology. She has participated in Best Buddies, HOSA, Finer Things Club, My Alpha Theta and the Nation
Honor Society. She served as Vice‐President of her class freshman, sophomore and junior years and then as President of the SHS Student Body in her senior year. Savannah also sings in the Choir and in Lyric (a choir group).
Bethany Milling, a senior at Pleasant View Christian School, will be a freshman at Welch College this fall with plans to major in Elementary Education. She participated in Student Council, National Honor Society (President), performing arts and Youth Leadership Cheatham County.
