Steverson Named Varsity Volleyball Coach at Pleasant View Christian School

Pleasant View Christian School is happy to announce Denise Steverson as its new high school varsity volleyball coach. Coach Steverson previously served PVCS as a teacher and head volleyball coach from 2003-2012. She has demonstrated her coaching talents by having numerous teams qualify for multiple post-season tournaments and having several players receive All-Conference and All-State recognition. She has also served as a successful Club Volleyball coach as well.

Denise returned to PVCS last year to serve as the athletic director and middle school Bible teacher, bringing over 20 years of experience as a teacher and a coach to PVCS. She has a passion for supporting students in and outside of the classroom that will be a tremendous asset to the School’s students and athletes. She looks forward to returning to coaching and bringing her experience and talent to PVCS to assist our students in both their academic and athletic endeavors.

“I’ve known Coach Steverson for a long time. When I first started coaching, we competed against one another. She has always developed fundamentally sound teams that play hard while demonstrating great sportsmanship on and off the court. I’m positive she will continue that with our PVCS teams,” said Rusty Campbell, Head of School.
