In recognition of both Arbor Day and Earth Day, the Cheatham County Soil Conservation District will host their annual seedling giveaway on March 15.
During the first-come, first-serve event, approximately over 800 free seedlings will be distributed to Cheatham County landowners. Residents can expect approximately 10 seedlings per person with a choice of Yellow-Poplar, White Pine, and Flowering Dogwood.
The giveaway will be held at the Soil Conservation District Office located at 1104 N. Main St. in Ashland City; it will begin promptly at 9 a.m..
