At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Agents are investigating the circumstances surrounding an officer-involved shooting Thursday night in Cheatham County, near the intersection of Old Clarksville Pike and Red Binkley Road.
Preliminary information indicates a deputy of the Cheatham County Sheriff's Office shot a man during an encounter. The man reportedly sustained an injury to the arm and is expected to survive. No law enforcement officers sustained injury in the incident.
