Two Cheatham county deputies and an Ashland City police officer were released from employment earlier today, February 26, as a result of violating sheriff’s office and police departmental policies.
Deputies Doug Fox, Tyler Temple, and ACPD Officer Paul Garrett are under investigation by the Metro Nashville Police Department.
All three were off-duty and in Nashville on December 26, 2018, when a complaint was made concerning allegations of assault against another individual at a sports venue.
The sheriff’s office and police department are cooperating with Metro Police who are leading the investigation.
